Carménère

septiembre 16, 2025

Carménère is a red grape variety originally from the Bordeaux region of France but is now most famously cultivated in Chile, where it has become the country’s emblematic red wine grape. Known for its deep color and velvety texture, Carménère was almost lost in Europe due to phylloxera but found a new home in Chilean vineyards, where it thrives in warm, dry climates.
